Which XBMC skin would you rather see ported to MediaPortal? (3 Viewers)

Aeon and its variants (Stark, Alaska, Auriga) are the best skins I've seen for any platform, and possibly the most copied. Their creator Djh is incredibly talented! I wish there was some project which would let all the htpc frontends (MP, Xbmc, Meedios etc) share a common skinning engine and basic framework.

I know it's not really feasible but it would be great if this eventually happened. The only thing that temps me to stray away from MediaPortal are the skins.. (no offense to any skin makers, StreamedMP is great but XMBC/Boxee has some amazing skins). There are some cool skins in the making for MediaPortal (Maya Blue for example).

If XBMC or Boxee actually had Live TV support (both client and server), I may be having an affair right now.

EDIT: Let me stress the no offense part, I have endless respect and appreciation for the effort people put into MediaPortal. Even if someone made a skin comprised of pictures of poo it's still much more than I could contribute.

But about the whole skin thing. You can take bits and pieces from skins of other apps (mostly graphics) so that can give the designer a head start

To be honest, the thing that keeps me faithful to MP are the plugins, specifically MovingPictures and TvSeries. There is nothing like them out there, not even close. That and the hardware acceleration for playback. But its getting very hard to ignore the dazzling beauty that is Aeon and its mods
