Are you actually selecting the CD icon, if you scroll up in that screen you should highlight the first CD (or second), but as i have converted all my double file movies into a single file cannot test this one for you, and cannot remember whether you press play or enter, sorry.
Thanks PD, but I think the problem is either skin or SVN related.
In the latest SVN, I know some work has been done to improve the cd Icon for stacking. In my version of REvision (1.1.7) with latest SVN, the cd icons do not appear at all (so obviously they cannot be selected). I reinstalled 0.2.3.2 (no SVN) and I could now see the cd icons (albeit squashed hard up against the right of my tv screen). All now works as it should.
I would suggest that these cds be made a little more obvious, as they are easy to miss at least in my setup. Not sure if that is a skin issue or an SVN issue though.
I have a very similar problem. When I try to open a movie that is splitted into two files, I don't have the cd symbols in the right upper corner, however I have the file merging dialog message on the VFD. Unfortunatelly at this point MP doesn't accept any keypress but ALT+F4 to exit.
I tried it with two different SVN buids (see the logs) and three different skins, with the same results.
hmmm, i take it by VFD you mean like a little LCD/LED display external to the monitor.
can you disable it completely then see what happens?
also, does the movie appear as two separate files in the MP window (not explorer) or just as one?
Of course the video appears in MP as one file, and the file length is the gross lenthg of the two files it consists of.
The VFD I meant is the iMon VFD display that shows useful informations while I use MP. I will disable the external display plugin tonight and check what happens.
...Well, I removed the external display plugin to disable the VFD but it didn't help anything.
...I rolled back to 0.2.3.0 RC2 with no SVN and the problem dissapeared. I'm afraid this must be an SVN bug.
