Great plugin!!

I've got most of the features working, but how do I know which API version currently is?
In the wiki there's a section about the playfile command, 'Introduced in API version 8'??
I have tried to send the playfile command but nothing happens, the sytax is correct because all my nav commands are working.
Is there something i'm missing??

I can now pass all MP commands and even open MP-TVSeries with "Window" - but how can I choose a series with specified title or seriesID ?

are there anywhere listed commands for MP-TVSeries?

As far as I can tell MP-TVSeries only supports opening with "views": Startup Parameters - MediaPortal Wiki

The api version is submitted in the welcome message you receive when connecting to the plugin. The current release version is at api version 8, svn at api version 9.

I've installed the plugin, but it fails to show up in the plugins screen. Log file attached.

Very strange ... can you please make sure you installed the correct version for your MediaPortal? Or in other words, which installer did you use?

Maybe you put it to show up on home screen and not in plugins?

I've tried again with v 0.4.2 for MP v1.2.1.

The installer runs fine, it tells me it succesfully installed wifiremote, both files are installed. Once I exit the installer it generates the following two errors. see attched error 1 and error 2.

I think I'm doing this correctly and in fact have exactly the same set-up on my own HTPC (this is a set-up for a friend) so I dont see what's different.

All help appreciated

Found the solution. Completly remove media portal and start again. Bit drastic I know but there was nothing else I could think to try

no problem, must have been some weirdness with mp. On the plus side my friends are delighted with the combination of mp and couch potato

I am still working at integrating MP-Extended (media library browsing) but have some conceptual trouble … I hope to resolve that soon to show you all some progress. Thanks for your patience!
