    Hello all,
I've a problem with my installation.
I've setted up mediaportal on a windows 7ultimate using the guide I found on this link:
Guida: installazione di MediaPortal su windows 7 e windows vista Mediaportal Italia
they suggested to install the shark007 codec pack to avoid problems with native codec and ffdshow.
My big problem is that I cannot switch between multiple audio on movies (using both moving pictures and tv series).
I tried both via remote and the A key on the keyboard to change audio but nothing works (I ear both audio at the same time)...

Someone could please help me suggesting the whole codec configuration?

    thank you very very much

    Nick

You have to activate haali media splitter for avi files in avi configuration section of shark007 codec pack.

Simone You're right, but as you know, there are some issues with single codec (as ffdshow tryouts) and windows 7 because the new media foundation doesn't allow the ffdshow to take the control... so that's a BIG problem...

    you know a workaround?

    thank you

I have the same combined audio tracks on some media file with my previous Vista build. I migrated to Windows 7 PRO and still have the same problem when I build it with multiple codec like ffdshow, ac3filters, MPC and Dvix 7.

I switched to SAF 4.00 beta20 and all my codec problems were resolved except RMVB not working. I followed the instructions and installed Real Alternative 2.01 and all is fine.

I don't have TV capture card and can't say whether there is issues on that side of the build. Hope this help.

    Here is my build summary:

    thank you very much

I use MS DTV-DVD codec for video and audio for all players: dvd, movies and tv :)

    Simone again thank you,
but using MS DTV-DVD you have NO problem? My system crashes a lot with your solution..
