The cause is the tv-service. If I stop the tv-service manually, than Windows shutdown normal.
If the tv-service runs, then the shutdown takes 30 seconds.

excuse me, I didn't know it. Because befor, I used MP 1.3. Is there a workaround, to solve the problem?

omg. for this reason, I have re-installed the system without success and played back several backups.
I thought I had driver problems..

reinstalling windows 7: just yesterday I noticed that this is problem only after the installation of mediaportal available..

Issue appears after this commit: https://issues.team-mediaportal.com/browse/MP1-3172
I think TVService.exe needs some time to properly shutdown.

So I don't know if this is a bug. Maybe @michael_t could comment?
    Thanks! :)
I cannot reproduce the effect - on my system (MP 1.5 pre-release) the stopping of the tvservice on shutdown takes about 250 ms. I have only the PowerScheduler plugin running - maybe stopping other TVServer plugins take much more time? We need logs of the systems that show this error...

Does anyone else have problem with long (several hours) pauses of TV broadcasts? If I pause and forget, I can still resume TV the next day, but if I try to change channel or stop, MP freezes. Only way to fix is to restart both MP and TV Service. Sometimes I need to restart PC It seems that TVServer cannot proprtly handle large...

MP1 MP2 No TV Service DE
Looking at recent activity on the web site, it has been 4 weeks since any of the MP2 developers have been active. They may be taking a short (or an extended) break. For this reason I would suggest that you uninstall MP2 and re-install MP1. The 1.33 version is recommended (in either the 32-bit or 64-bit version). Also, it is pretty...
