Message: <blockquote data-quote="milpool" data-source="post: 371018" data-attributes="member: 87743">I had the same card and I have seen others who have had a ton of problems with it too.  My advice is to buy a used pvr-150 by Hauppauge.  I got mine for $27 USd shipped and it worked flawlessly out of the box.I spent a good 3-4 hours trying to get the winfast 2000 working, always worked fine in other apps, but not in media portal.  I have read that the reason the winfast doesn't work is that it uses software decoding and support for that has been removed from media portal.  On the plus side with a hardware card like the pvr-150 I can watch 720p video and have the recording going in the backgroup with no problems.</blockquote>
