It relies on Power Scheduler. this needs to be active.

AND: the wakup time must bedifferent to "00:00", which means it is dsiabled

Edit: Don't search too much. it seems not to wakeup for some reason. though i know it did before. need to dig into it

"Monitor changes in share" of course only works, if the HTPC is running, while updating the network shares.

sure this works?? not here

Sure, if you have the MusicShareWatcher Plugin enabled as well.
As a lot of user forget to do that, i'm hiding MusicShareatcher now and enable / disable it based on the check box. That's included in 1.1.

Did you just hide that or does svn 23677 already got it.

cause i am running that svn and dont have the plugin MusicSharewatcher but cant find the checkbox either.

(should all sharewatcher changes appear in the corresponding log?)

The check box is called "Auto-Update DB on changes in share". in the Music Database section.
Yes, changes appear in the log.

right, so i believe that checkbox was already there. no new one then.

ok, i will have to look more into it as im having all kind of addition troubles (ie. no codec when using database view, but ok using archive view )

maybe time for a fresh install + svn update

    thanks

We've found it is a bug in the Pwer Scheduler. Will be fixed in the next days.

Step 5 from the guide above. removing the grouping in the albums view

    Hi

my list had nothing in the ACT column, but i did as suggested and clicked in the field and pressed 'd'. this deleted each row in the table, resulting in some null reference exceptions but finally cleared the list anyway. opened up media portal now no music works at all. the busy icon goes round and round.

    did i do something wrong?

you should have pressed "d" only once.
Now you have maybe a corrupted view.
simply delte musicviews.xml in your config folder and it'll be recreated from default settings.
