WMVHD 5.1 audio not working (1 Viewer)

When I read other people's opinion regarding MP I can under the "What's bad" section often see the comment that features are seemingly being pushed out at the expense of bug fixes.

I must say this is an excellet example of this. This bug has been around at least since the begining of this year and there is still no response to it, even after people repeatedly posting about the issue.

HD material has been "generally available" for about 2 years now. People are actually starting to play other things than divx. Even h264 .ts playback is very flaky atm (incoming bugreport btw). Yes I know, .mkv is very good, but it doesn't work that way. Some things you "get" on wmvhd, some on .mkv and so on.

Hi Guys,

PLEEEEAAASE sort out this (ie, let us add A3 filter or FFD Audio after the WMA DMO).

Sure I can avoid all WMA HD content... but I would rather not. There is more and more WMA HD content out there, and I want to play it to it's full potential with Media Portal. Now I'm stuck with MCE or WMP11 for WMA HD.

The graphs have been provided, to show how the graph is built when MCE or WMP11 use normal codec merrits. It would be more than nice if this subject was bumped to the top of the to do queue, due to it's age, and the amount of people asking for it in several threads on this forum. I would be more than happy to test!

Ac3 is to me yust as important as the picture.
Toos bad it doen't work as i have 500 gig of wmvhd movies on my hd and i cant enjoy them in MP
