Do not have this problem with engine 0.2.

When watching a tv prog with black bars top and bottom the picture becomes very narrow. will post log if nessecary, but I'm at work now, I had a look in them yesterday and noticed that the resolution was set to 1024x576, the PAL signal is 768x576, so believe thats the reason.

Any one else have this prob?

Tried both the MPV and PowerDVD codec.

>If I record the same (Program/Channel/Card) within Mediaportal (TV-Plugin) the Video size is 1024x576. (wrong)

In my case it was Codec related. Dscaler and InterVideo works for me. MPV not.

Have you PowerDVD Ultra 7.3 installed? I heard it should be used for H264-HW accelleration.
Have you any SVN installed? I believe there are now 2 Codec-settings for MPEG2 and H264.

Haven't checked recording from outside MP, only tested with live TV.

Yes I have 7.3 Ultra, but that gives me 3 choises, does it matter wich codec I use? Believe I've tested with Dscaler codec also with same result. With TV-engine 2 I don't have this problem. Using SVN from yesterday.

Have tested this a little further, Dscaler does work, but not MPV or PowerDVD (7.3) Is there a way how I can make it work with those as well?

Another problem is that I loose sound in Live TV if I exit TV and then enter again, have to disable TVService to have sound back again..??
