    Currently I'm running MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot: 04-28-2007 01-00h - Revision:14439

    I have still problems with WebEPG. When it runs by job at 01:00, there is a difference in data of one day. If I run it manually it grabs the epg data fine.

    I'm using German channels with tvinfo.de as source.

    Here's a small example of wrong data:

    1.) run from 01:00 (wrong day, +24h)
    PHP:
      <programme start="20070429201500" channel="pro-sieben.de">
        <title>Dumm und dümmerer</title>
        <category>Spielfilm/Comedy</category>
      </programme>

    1.) manual run (correct day)
    PHP:
      <programme start="20070429201500" channel="pro-sieben.de">
        <title>Der Einsatz</title>
        <category>Spielfilm/Kriminal</category>
      </programme>

    what's wrong here?

    Thank you

    Hello once more! I now have logfiles and the resulting tvguide.xml.

    As mentioned in the first post, when webepg runs automatically (from Plugins) there is an one-day error in dates.

    The second manual run (webepg.exe), the date is correct.

    So what can I do that both ways get the same (correct) result?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi morpheus_xx

    I share the problem with you, but I didn't know that the problem is caused if it runs automatically by the pluging.

    So is anybody here that can help us?

    Regards,
    Gerhard

    I'm not really sure if it is caused by the plugin-run, because I'm usually sleeping between the update tries from 0 to 6 o'clock ;-)

    But except the day time it was the only difference in running the epg-update.

    problem solved (probably), another delete of tvguide.xml and manually running webepg.exe resulted in an accurate epg (yet?). i´ll post if an auto webepg will change that tomorrow.

    ---------------

    hi,
    has anyone found a solution.
    the problem occured here as i got some new channels and added them. after the first webepg grabbing my epg is corrupted for all channels (!) and it doesn´t change here even if i start webepg.exe manually ;-((
    TIA, LX.

    I have recently changed the WebEpg grabber to german TV Today (instead of tvinfo).

    As far as I can see now, the data there is correct. So maybe it's only a problem with the tvinfo.de grabber.

    When I have more time at weekend, I will check this further

    Hello,

    I also experienced this problem before. I don't think it is related to the grabber or the automated run of the grabber. My experience is that it is caused by the time of day that you are running WebEPG. I think the TVInfo site has not switched to the new day at 01:00 or something alike.

    My solution was to shift the WebEPG run to the daytime. It now starts at 11:00 in the morning and works fine (most of the time).

    Regards,
    Olaf

    well, as you stated tekener, i´ll try that, because my "solution" - deleting the tvguide.cml and manually running, did work only until yesterdays auto running that has been set per default to run at 02:00!
    even manually running afterwards did result in a day difference (strange that!),
    so i deleted the tvguide.xml and started webepg.exe...
    i´ll post my progress tomorrow (now manually running ;-( and set scheduler to 21:00)

    @morpeheus_xx: i don´t want to change (doesn´t seem to make sense also, because of the behaviour described obove). the reason is that i´m using tvtoday from time to time to look at recommendations in programs and descriptions from my notebook, but the guide sometimes is not accurate, especially at premiere programs!
    LX

    Many thanks tekener - your solution worked!! just set the scheduler to 2100, deleted the tvguide.xml and auto epg update is working here!!
    cheers, LX
