Wrong installation path for dvbt/satellites.xml?? (1 Viewer)

I've tried to reinstall the TVE3 server (with all the NET and SQL stuff) in a new sub-directory called "MediaPortal TV Server". Before this I've uninstalled everything TVE3 needs to run (SQL, NET1.1, NET2.0, MP0.2.2, TVE3). Additional I've scanned the registry for "mediaportal" to delete potential paths to the old installation of TVE3. Nevertheless as soon as I start the "TV Server management console" the following error comes up:
"Unable to open Tuningparameters\dvbt.xml". The management console shows only the "TV Servers" tab - nothing else.
The error.log shows that TVE3 is looking for a "MediaPortal" sub-directory instead of the "MediaPortal TV Server" subdirectory. I've created this directory and the Tuningparameters subdirectory with the two files "dvbt.xml" and "satellites.xml". With this everything is working fine. Is there anyone who can give me a hint to this behavior? Is it a bug or is this path from an earlier installation in a SQL database anywhere on my drive?

Is there anyone in the MP team who can give me a hint for my problem? The server SW is still taking the wrong path but I don't know why and I don't where the SW is taking this information from. Even the process monitor from sysinternals doesn't give me a hint. I would like to help the MP team finding bugs but I can't do it without a feedback.

well i just tried dvbt tuning here and no problem at all.

i have absolutely no clue why its trying to use that path in your case

what is the installation path you used for TV Server?

do you use vista maybe?

After a couple of uninstalls now it's working from the right directory ;-)

Many thanks for your fast response! Sorry, I've locked out after my posting cause I didn't expect it.
I'm using WinXP SP2 and as mentioned below I've tried to use the standard directory "MediaPortal TV Server". Formerly I've installed the server in the directory which is now the 'wrong' path. I've tried to find out where TVE3 is remembering the path but as mentioned there was no hint. Maybe you can help me. How is the path formed in the program? If I know this I can delete the wrong path and start over.
