Which SQL server did you use for VISTA64?

Download details: Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services

SQLEXPR_ADV

just installed the Microsoft SQL 2008 Server Express Edition and it works fine as well

installed the new server and client svn and everything is stable and working great

Any chance of a brief guide on what I ought to be downloading in order to get up and running?

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
SQLServer2005_SSMSEE_x64
mp release
mp server/ client
latest svn
use the 2005 editions
install in that order and get the video tut if never installed before

Are you using xp 64?

It is server 2005 I am having compatability problems with vista 64. Saying I need to get server 2005 SP2, but I can only find SP2 for 32 bit.

This is the correct SQL download for x64 OS: Download details: SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP2
Select SQLEXPR.EXE

Remove the old one before installing the new one.

no vista 64 bit

make sure you turn off uac it will cause problems if you dont
