XBMC Xephyr skin portage (1 Viewer)

Okay so I got something together that works.

Previews:
Episodes
Series

I've attached the XML and other stuff. Try it.

(v0.3.1) some fixes, added torrent with some Xephyr FanArt
(v0.4) some fixes, removed unnecessary animations, removed second text in episode list

What else should i need to copy to make this skin work (i mean the basic skin)?

Just copy my files over TSMOTW skin and you're done. Well then you have to copy some images to make it look nice but that's already been explained.


I've made a lot of small adjustments to the skin since I first uploaded it and I added a torrent with some FanArts I made, some are from the xephyr backpacks.

You probably already know this but there's the text "Play DVD" in the upper left corner in basic home menu, it doubles up when you move to Play DVD in the menu.

Didn't know how that slipped in, you need to search in basichome.xml for 2X <label>341</label> and either delete the whole thing or replace it with a - (gonna update in new release). And I really love the tvseries.xml you made!! Only problem I have is with the labels like genre/series status/etc which show like #TVSeries.Series.Genre. I think it got to do with the plugin, maybe I got an old version (1.2.9.34660).

Yeah you need rev250+ of the tvseries svn for those labels to work. All labels except episode filesize and episode runtime work with rev248.

Hey love your tvseries work, I have a slight issue with it though where the dates of episodes are overlapping the plot when you go into a series screen- I will post a screen shot when I get home if you need me to-don't know if you knew about it or not Must be me, it doesn't look like your screenshots you posted above....hmmm

Have you removed Xephyr folder inside your cache folder? Sounds like that kind of problem, if not make a screenshot.

I've exactly same problem. Fresh install of Xephyr + tvseries from spuck (thanks a lot !).

I've other issues with this skin but i think it's normal because it's a pre-alpha and my screen is 1920*1080. I must make other try in 1280*720 before post results

Otherwise, this skin is great ! thanks a lot for this xbox's port, it's my default skin now.

I've downloaded all 3 backpacks and i love the possibility for Mediaportal to change background like a slideshow

Same problem here, I looked into it you can do to things.
Either go to the 'TV-series plugin', choose tab 'mediaportal display control', and delete <Episode.FirstAired>
under 'Episode view settings'.
The other option (easier), open tvseries.xml (can open it with notepad) en go to the end. Look for this
<textXOff2>630</textXOff2>
<textYOff2>29</textYOff2>
and change it to dashes
<textXOff2>-</textXOff2>
<textYOff2>-</textYOff2>
