In my Case the Basic Home Screen has the old 0.1 Icons and mostly everything is like in the 0.1 version in fakt the covers in the movie and music section. Only the regular home screen changed.
Harley did you load up the wrong one or did i something wrong. I deleted the old Xface Folder in the Skin Folder of Media Portal and then i copied the new Xface Folder in to it.

What went wrong?

You need to delete the cachefolder for xface to load the new gfx :)

Great work Harley :)

Here are the bugs I noticed so far, and a few suggestions..

TVseries:

When media playing, the nowplaying data overlaps series/episode info.
The bottom bar is grey, something missing?

Fullscreen video:
There are no skip gfx? I thought you have made all the OSD gfx, or did you forget some?
There are no change ratio gfx either..

Home menu, (not basichome):
When media playing, the nowplaying data overlaps the menu.

IMDB:
The black top and bottom bar is missing.

Basichome:
Is the bottom supposed to have no gfx? I mean the small area under the buttonbar.
Perhaps it will look better if the menubar was moved to the bottom of the page?

Recorded TV:
The recorded shows gfx are WAY too high, it can be narrowed down to half the hight.

News plugin:
missing top and bottom bar.
Also, the home menu news icon is rendered under the nowplaying info.

EPG:
Perhaps use a darker or lighter color on the channel icons background, against the EPG data?
Looks a little wierd when they have the same colour.

TV OSD:
How about adding next/previous program on the left and right control?
Would be like a quick-mini-epg :p I think its doable...

I am going away on a hunting trip tomorrow, so I cant test more, or help fixing the bugs..
And I really want too... you BFH releasing the skin so soon, I was hoping to first see it when I got back :D

Thx for all the hard work Harley.

Daft question though for when I get home. Where is the Skin Cache folder on Vista for deletion. On my XP machine I know it is normally under the MediaPortal directory but I assume it is somewhere else on Vista and I want to install it on that machine first and I still have older 0.1 version there.

Also anyone out there planning on doing a real version of MyFilms for XFace as I always currently copy a version from elsewhere but it would be great to get one that really fits with this great skin.

Seems to be a great skin

Which plugins does it support? (most important are TVSeries, MyLyrics, My Films, less important Worldmap, online videos, ecc.). Thanks for your great work.

    Very nice skin!

I noticed a few things most of which DarkWader picked up on, also in the home screen (not basic) the selected icon is always the bottom of the four, If you goto this home with a program playing then the TV screen overlaps the selected icon. Not having the selected icon as the bottom one would fix it.

    Hey all.

I'm all new to this scene, but i am overly impressed by the quality of this skin.
I will start using it immediatly and report my findings in here.

    Awesome work Harley
