    2. I think the text size is too small. It is hard to read the EPG from 2.5m distance. I think it would be better to have 2 lines less but instead a bigger font size.
I definitely disagree! I'm on 3,5m distance using a 110" screen at 1920x1080 and this is prefect ;)

I guess the only way to satisfy everyone is to make the number of rows and columns in the EPG customizable just like SageTV. I don't think it's supported by MediaPortal though..

Other than that, I have to say this new skin is great!

    Matter of taste.
In my viewing environment 50" Plasma at 1080p from normal viewing distance it is absolutely perfect.

It seems that with huge screens and high res (1080p) the EPG is fine.
However, I am a "poor" guy and have only a 32" LCD screen with a res of 1360x768 :)
And with this config it should be bigger. Please find attached a picture for reference.

    110" or 110cm??
i still have the problem with freezing does it help to install the latest svn? (my topical version is from 28th sept)
    greetz marc

    110 inch of course (240cm x 140cm using projector :))

I also had some problems with freezings in 26th sept SVN but much less than earlier. Gonna try SVN 16098 now. Changelog sounds promising: TVE3 02/10/2007 [20:19:24] gibman added: TSwriter channel change stability improved on client. In some circumstances bad TS packets would get written to the TS file on server.

Every screen could be cutomizable to display from say 8, 10 or 12 rows(just examples). People would just select in options what suits them best. All the author of the skin would have to do was to define font size and resizable/different gfx for each of the 3 available settings. This would be list view in playlists/folders and of course in EPG.

Dont know how doable this is tho.

I get an error on the MyFilms Plugin.
I must youse MyFilms to import my DVD Profiler Database.

How can i get the cool look with my DVD's from the standard Video Screen?

Is ther an MyFilms XML Screen of Xface out there?

I am able to import my DVD Profiler XML file through the configuration.exe program. I have patched the file to support both v2.x DVD Profiler and the newer 3.x versions. It adds a status bar so that you can see the status of the import. Switching movies and going to the cast screen is a lot quicker now. Let me know if this will do what you need for the import and you may not have to use a plugin anymore. The internal player is nice.

My question to all is how do we handle dvd sets in the default MP player. For instance, I have South Park Season 1 with 13 episodes. When I select it, it shows 13 Discs on the screen. How do I know which disc is which episode other than the obvious alphabetical order? Is it possible to have this or any skin show the selected title when you change between the discs? Maybe I am missing something on how this is supposed to work.

    Thanks!
