If something like this could be implented into the source of mediaportal, the end user could also change the icons on the basichome menue him self, like in meedio. Within the Settings UI
Well, i'm experimenting with some ideas, and i'm now wondering why not to implement a 3D carousel for using in home screen into the code of MP, it could be some standard Basic Home screen available in tree or four models (carousel like this skin and spinsafe revolve, vertical slider like windows media center, horizontal like Replicant...) skin designers only could need to change the icons used and also the position on screen.... of course the included shortcuts into the home menu should be customizable by each user, using 4 or more icons available from each skin. I hope that developers likes my idea and they consider it..

Hey Harley i've modified a bit your basic home screen. I think that way icons looks more proffesional... also i've modified the bottom zone, but i think that it must be polished a bit to look like the top bar... the rest of botton zone, downwards is a piece of the background in the middle zone.

Wow! Looks totally amazing. Gonna try to make a xml for the TVSeries plugin since that's about the only page I use.
