Hey, you guys need to stop bothering Harley so much so he can finish up the *really* important thing with xface ... the 4:3 version!

There is already people using TV sets in 4:3 format? seriously?

And i will be using it for another 2 years at least!!!

PLEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAASE don't let 4:3 die yet ,just because of all the rich kids

HTPCs and 4:3 TV sets don't go together. But that's just my humble opinion .

Come on now, just becouse some of us are lucky to have a widescreen does not mean that everybody has....
But I can really agree that it would be the first 'must buy' for everyone with a HTPC....

There is nothing that can prevent the death of 4:3.
It s not a question if it will happen but only when it happens.
Currently there is much support for 4:3 in MP so no reason for panic.
If you take a look at the download section you will find more 4:3 than 16:9 skins.
But there is no doubt that this will change in the future.

i have the same coverart problem, if i run blue2 the filmstrip view has the high quality jpeg displayed if i then swap to xface and use the filmstrip view its really blurry

There is no 'My programs' support in this skin? may be that someone has repaired the files and can post them here...

The thing that bothers me most with MediaPortal and 16:9/4:3 is that the screen calibration still isn't working 100%. So I can't have the "correct" display on my 32" 16:9 CRT screen, since I'm feeding it 1024x768 (wich is 4:3) through s-video. So the beautiful covers does look like crap on my screen, and I'm forced to use the big icon view. But I can live with it until I buy a new TV set I guess.

..do you mean the big thumb in filmstripview of B2, or do you mean the smal thumbs in filmstripview self.

Because MP use only the high quality jpeg´s for the big thumb in filmstripview and not for the smal one in the flmstripview self. Thats the problem i have, because i need the big ones in the filmstripview self.
I have spoken with Bavarian for this and he will take a look on the code inside mp to change this, so we have the solution to use the high quality jpeg´s inside the filmstripview.

yep sounds right i will explain what i do
Blue2
Step 1. go to switch view, select TITLE
Step 2. then change layout to Filmstrip
In the preview of the coverart.jpg file it has a high quality image and doesn't appear blurry

If i repeat the same procedure with xface to view the sweet new filmstrip view you have done that goes across the screen i only see a blurry image thats harder to see, so its like its enlarging the small icon or something to fit?

PS. ..for all 4:3 user after the most is done now for 16:9, the skin will be ported to 4:3
