Xface Skin Version 1.6 ready for download 09.06.2008 (3 Viewers)

Been working with Inker on creating a new series select view. Turned out quite well I think except for a few issues.
- You can't come to the last row of banners (Same in myvideos big icon view)
- More than 3 rows: The rest of the rows become invisible.
- If you go into the menu (left click) the topbar and 3 icons in the bottom corner show up and don't go away until re-entry to the plugin

Yes we need some help!

IMPORTANT: You need latest SVN version of the plugin for it to work!

First one is 3 row version.
Second one is 5 row (Which we want to have) but doesn't work. (2 invisible rows)
(You have to rename the file to TVSeries.xml of course)

This is a really good consept

I have been playing around with it alittle just now, and there seem to be some trouble here..
It seems impossible to get the desired view with 5 rows.. however with some tweaking I was able to get 4 rows but only with 4 collums aswell..
Wich makes everything quite tiny..

Perhaps there is something above in the .xml that causes this? Or the plugin itself?

Anyway, here is a screeny of what I made so far, and the bottom row is accessible, as shown on the screenshot.
With a proper zoom on the highlighted banner, we could have a great "vista mce" effect.

(And I dont have that many series, I just made some dummies to work with )

You mean <thumbZoom>? Don't think it'll fit anyway, they are a bit too small. I'll try the zooming in 3 col version, sound interesting.

3. The current track's rating is always empty.

Of course because it is _your_ rating This is a pretty old feature of MediaPortal - usually set via context menu. Now playing just makes it easier to view/set it using the number keys.

I just searched the language files and found 'context menu' with id = 102012. I then searched all the skins I use (BlueTwo, BlueTwo wide, Replicant, ReVision and Xface) for that id and found nothing. That makes it difficult to alter the 'my rating'.

I can go to the last row. Using SVN from 10/5/07. Fantastic work on the new banner layout. I wouldn't mind 3 rows if they were separated from each other a little bit.

Yes this was true for myvideos as well. You could go the last row tho by clicking the page down but not with the down cursor click that would work.

But on the SVN version i lastly installed it was fixed.

If i am not mistaken.
Upto Rev16043 the last row was not accessible by click the down cursor on your control or keyboard.

On Rev16098 it was fixed and you can do that.

Spuck maybe you can try installing that SVN on a test machine and test it out ?

P.S.
The font color of the Title, Genre, Description at the buttom are really bad. You can really see them with grey background and grey font color. Maybe try some other font color?

spuck thats an excellent layout you got there even my g/f loved the whole row presentation

only thing that looks out of place for me if i may, is the description on the bottom i mean the 3/4 of the screen is the series icons and theres like a small place for the description on the bottom that takes some effort to read.

maybe increase the height of that box or another font/background color perhaps, besides this excellent work mate
