You mean <thumbZoom>? Don't think it'll fit anyway, they are a bit too small. I'll try the zooming in 3 col version, sound interesting.

Biggest issue is the thing where you can't go to the last row if it isn't visible on the current page. This is the same in myvideos (shares) big icon view. Can someone with a SVNversion of MP confirm this since I'm using RC2?

Yes this was true for myvideos as well. You could go the last row tho by clicking the page down but not with the down cursor click that would work.

But on the SVN version i lastly installed it was fixed.

If i am not mistaken.
Upto Rev16043 the last row was not accessible by click the down cursor on your control or keyboard.

On Rev16098 it was fixed and you can do that.

Spuck maybe you can try installing that SVN on a test machine and test it out ?

Do you know if it is also an error that you cant get a 5x3 grid? It's like it hides the 4/5th row, but you can still select them, you just dont see them. And when you scroll down you can quickly see the last row pop-up and animate up.

i dont see a reason why performace would be any different than the albumview method used before.

I wonder if there need to be more or equal amount of items per row as there are rows. That would explain why the 4x4/3x3 and your 3x5 grid works. I really don't think it has anything to do with the plugin or the size of the banners. Could a skinner try to create such a grid in a different xml (say my videos or something) and see if it works there?

Edit: BTW the skin is really awesome!!

Is this only bothering me?

When looking at any items list..ex. the myvideos list of movies.

None visited movies are rendered in grey font color.
Visited movies are rendered in blue font color.
Currently selected row/item is rendered in similar blue.

Sometimes it takes a while for me to understand what item I am currently ON.
My GF sees it the same way.

Also some EPG descriptions are in white font on a white-ish background...hard2read also.

I am not really sure if its on the skinners hands. My guess and this is just a wild guess is on the hands of the MP views. i really dont think that LargeIcons view might work like you like it to work with TVseries.

I think the LargeIcons view was designed to work for coverarts.

Maybe you guys have to go deeper into the code and look how MP does the the LargeIcon View (if you havent already done so) or ask Frodo maybe to elaborate/help more.

My guess is that you will need a new View to make this work Inker.

Hmm, I don't see why a new "view" (If i understand what correctly what you mean by this) is needed at all. The thumbnailpanel (which has small/large icon mode - but we only use the large one) should perfectly allow this (that is display a grid of NxM items). We can skin each item to fit the wide banners perfectly.

I'll see if i can find out more tonight.

Been working with Inker on creating a new series select view. Turned out quite well I think except for a few issues.
- You can't come to the last row of banners (Same in myvideos big icon view)
- More than 3 rows: The rest of the rows become invisible.
- If you go into the menu (left click) the topbar and 3 icons in the bottom corner show up and don't go away until re-entry to the plugin

IMPORTANT: You need latest SVN version of the plugin for it to work!

First one is 3 row version.
Second one is 5 row (Which we want to have) but doesn't work. (2 invisible rows)
(You have to rename the file to TVSeries.xml of course)

I just get that single column(almost like it looks in the std version) version when i try the 3 row version.. I use todays SVN.
