There is some text clipping going on when music is being played and movies are played.
If you play something, and get the little monitor for the visualizations in the lower left corner, it over laps things like the MyNews details in the lower centre. Also overlaps the deails in Movies...

DarkWader- a top notch 6600 is almost twice as fast as the 7300GS. But the low end one is half as fast. Guess it just depends which one he had.

Either way a 5500 should NOT be able to run it smoothly!

Maybe it shouldnt but my 128MB FX5200, XP2400 and 512MB RAM (this is almost getting to be a museum piece!) runs this skin fine outputting at 60HZ 1360x768 to an LCD TV.

video rewind problem/bug?

when rewinding avi using left arrow on keyboard/remote often the video skips forward if attempting to go back different values e.g. 3 mins/5 mins.

Not sure if this is a mediaportal or skin bug. using latest svn and version of xface, combined with ffdshow codec

Is there a way when viewing movies film strip view to make the highlighted movie stay in the center? So when I scroll to the right there is always 2 movies preceeding the highlighted movie.

yeah! that would look more like the coverflow view from itunes!
if it is possible it should be in the music section too!

That would look best if the covers where "looped".. When you scroll to the left past <Batman>(Movie nr1) you get to <Zodiac>(Movie nr50), and the other way around.

I just don't see why a mediacentre pc that needs to be able to show movies ,play music ,show tv programmes , show photos and the rest should even NEED so much 3d graphic processing power!!!!!

If mediaportal is becoming bloatware with 3d graphic bell's and whistle's and no option for the ones that doesn't want to spend $$$$$$$$$$$ on a screeencard it going to be a sad day.

As soon as my 2.2Ghz celeron and my fx5200 is not enough anymore ,mediaportal has let me down and has become bloatware.

But I suppose this depends from user to user.
