I really like the static screen, but I couldn't find any way to exit it once I'm done. I end up pressing Alt-F4 to quit MP all together.

Hi,

I have a quick question: How do I remove the text that displays the title of the movie when browsing through my films in MyFilms? The text overlaps the zoomed thumbnail on the left side. Or, how can I move it lower? Thank you for any help.

Thematrixz, you are quite right - my static screen has removed quite a few options! I wanted it to be very simple so removed all options bar the four places I go most. As for exiting MP, I use Girder and the keystroke is mapped to Alt-F4. As for plugins such as MyLyrics and MyMusicVideos I have added them to the menu in My Music (swapping them
for Play CD and Eject CD) which works quite well.

I'm using this skin with Dec 16th svn and loving it!

If only I didnt have overscan issues so I could appreciate the skin in full as i get the left hand side and the top chopped off

The blue two wide skin which comes with MP 0.2.3.0 seems to fit my screen better without the overscan is there any way I can get xface to fit better?

Ive tried playing with the UI calibration but all I can do is move the UI around so If I want to see the chopped off ledt hand side then now the right hand side will be chopped off.

Im using a rear pro CRT samsung tv at 1920 x 1080i videos / tv etc are all ok and not overscanned, Only the Media Portal UI is.

Also I was looking at the posts about mytvseries and fanart or something and I saw someones screnshot of mytvseries for '24' and it has a pic of jack bauer as the background.

Is this fanart something you have to fix up or if I use that customer tvseries.xml will I get this background too?

Do you mind if I ask where you got the images used in the normal home page from (myvideos, mytv, settings etc...) and if you have them in high resolution?

And if that is possible, I would like to know if it's possible to go into the "video info" (imdb) page from the list or folder view directly instead of just opening the movie folder? Or perhaps that's not something that can be done with xml editing? If that would work, the MP movie database would act just like MesFilms, right?

Is there a way to get Flimstrip view on Artist and Album as the default view
and list view on songs as the default view

You have to use the music DB, there you can config in what style the different views should be displayed. IE filmstrip for albums and list view for songs. But if your files aren't tagged properly that's a job you would have to do first. This do require that you dont use shares view. The easiest way to get this going in shares view is to in mp config set default view to list, and then manually in MP change the view to filmstrip for the folders you want to be viewed that way.

As for video info I just posted how to do that in the other thread you asked cams.
