thanks for the tips, gonna have a go at it now. BTW, anyone know how to get that fancy tv-series view where you get the main tv-series screen to show the logos in bunches, like three rows of banners instead of my one column to the right on the screen? As my tv-series database grows larger and larger I can see a better overview come in handy.

I got it to work!

It was a lot of different files that needed to be edited most of them common. files. I also went on to tune the fonts in the whole skin so that all dark on dark problems disappeared.

Now there's only one thing left before my skin is perfect... As I was tuning the music filmstrip view I realized I want to have three labels on the bottom of the screen for the selected item, namely, Album (which is #selecteditem already), Artist (which is #selecteditem2 already) and Year. Problem is I can't figure out how to get the skin to get the variable "year" out of the selected items ID3 tag or album info screen. In myVideos it was easy since #year, #rating etc was simply variables, but with myMusic this simple solution does not work.

Anyways, thanks for igniting the will to customize the skin on my own, it's kinda fun actually...

BTW, maybe this should go in the music section?

Hey Harley, if you want, I can send you the original image files that was used to create the 'Blue Streak' image as shown in this screenshot:

That Blue Streak was created using I believe about 5-10 different images/sprites...so perhaps if you wanted to re-create the Blue Streak to your own preference, you can... even remove that faint 'black' vertical slanted bar... or make it so its evenly spread on each side (left/right)

I love the fanart for the tv-series plugin. Is fanart going to be supported for My videos or My films as well so we can get the awesome view for all the movies as well?

I have a flickering Music-overlay, while playing music (with RC1). Steps to reproduce:
- Go to Music, play any song you like
- Go to home, overlay works as expected
- Go to My Plugins -> overlay starts flickering and the cover is right beside the small screen.

nor a litte question to the new version:

you write "The skin is made for Mediaportal 1.0". Does that mean the actual RC1 or can i run it under the actual stable realease?
