anyone know how to fix this? standard install of rc1 with last week's rc1 svn.

One way is to edit common.facade.video search for the control entry with <description>Filmstrip view</description> and there replace the <textcolor>ffffffff</textcolor> entry by <textcolor>00ffffff</textcolor>. Don't know if the result is what you like.

does anyone have file explorer that is compatible with this skin? also how do i go to Movies info pages?

Damn so many shows? I've only about 40 and I find it hard to browse! :p
I was actually thinking about having 3 banners side by side in the beginning (Like big icons view in myvideos) but I don't know if that's possible/how to do it, I'm not that experienced with skinning. :(

I'm actually searching for why those 3 icons are displayed.. Haven't found anything yet though. :(
When I find out how I can remove those I'll try putting the logos there and see how it looks.
I don't really see the point of episode thumbs but I'll make one XML with a episode thumb for you guys.

Light fan art is not an issue I'm making the fanart fade to black.

Thanks for the help!

Edit: Made a screenshot of the plugin with light fan art, thinking of makeing the fading a bit darker though.

which plugin does he/ she in this pic?

Hi there!

Thanks for making this great skin for MP, it's the most beatiful one as of yet in my opinion.

I have one minor issue regarding the filmstrip in "Videos".
When a video cover is highlighted the white text below it is automatically moved, and then it overlaps the regular hover info in the lower bar. Is there any way you can:
  • Hide the cover subtitle (white) text when hovering over a cover (red arrow in screenshot)
  • Move the info text (black) to the left of the screen, so more of the movie title can be shown (red marking in screenshot)

If you can point out a way to realise this myself, I'd be happy as well (though I'm very new to the MP / skinning system).

Again, thanks for making this great skin!

Regards,

Rob

I also have this problem and brought it up on the last page. Hope someone comes out with a fix... all that woul dhave to be done is to move that text up to the bottom of the black area!

<EDIT> Clearly I wasn't thinking straight when making these changes. Now when a video is playing and I go back to the filmstrip view, the small video window overlaps the file/folder info... Now I realise why the file/folder information was placed in such an odd position.

I havent found the correct XML/section for the first issue (removing the descriptive text below the covers when hovering).

If someone knows in which file this can be edited, I would greatly appreciate it if they told me :)

pgjensen, TiCAL:

What don't you like regarding my previous answer (first post on this page)? It does exactly what you ask for. It removes the text of the cover which is active.

grubi.

I'm sorry but I thought that was about something else.
I already got it fixed now by moving the movie info (file/dirname, objects, size, cover thumbnail) a bit lower. Now the text doesn't overlap.

By the way, is there any chance that you will create a 1920*1080 version of this skin?

Changing textyoffset from -115 to -165 fixed it. when zoomed in it's at the very bottom of the black area.

i think i like this better than just completely hiding it.
