No entry in errorlog...
Well, I can conclude that I don't have the same problem as Ulf, as I don't have the starrating in my tvguide.xml
My problem is that the import, imports the channels, but not the programs, at it does NOT come with an entry in the error log. The error log is empty. In the tv log however the following entry is to be found:
2008-04-24 10:23:17.703125 [8]: Controller: epg start
2008-04-24 10:23:29.640625 [1]: ---- start setuptv V0.9.1.18808----
2008-04-24 10:23:29.640625 [1]: ---- check connection with database ----
2008-04-24 10:23:29.843750 [1]: ---- check if database needs to be updated/created ----
2008-04-24 10:23:29.843750 [1]: ---- upgrade database schema ----

2008-04-24 10:23:36.937500 [1]: xmltv import C:\guide\tvguide.xml
2008-04-24 10:23:37.093750 [1]: plugin:xmltv importing files in C:\guide\tvguide.lst

2008-04-24 10:23:37.250000 [1]: Xmltv: imported 216 channels, 0 programs status:
2008-04-24 10:23:37.250000 [1]: plugin:xmltv import done
And that is all the feedback/logging I have been able to find regarding tvguide import.
Just to be sure that is was not my usual tvguide.xml that was somehow fucked up, I did an alternative grabbing using webEPG but alas with the same result.
For your forensic pleasure I'm attaching both xml files. The smaller one is the one generated by WebEPG
Another discrepancy I noticed was that in the tv server managenet console, when I look at the plugins, xmltv is said to be version 1.0.0, but when I look at xmltvimport.dll is is version 0.9.1.18808
