    Hello,

I'm sure I'm being dumb. I I use the XMLTV GUI, I use digiguide as my schedule provider. But its stopped working, had been fine. It logs on down loads but then it does not write the new schedule to mediaportal. I'm using Mediaport 1.20.

I do not seem to have a xmltv.xml file. Where can I get it please?

I understand that I need to save xmltv in the same folder as mediaportal looks in to up date the TV schedule. Where is the best place to do that please?

Thanks, I have attached the log file below

I'm still having the same problem. It might be when I went from MP2 back to MP1.17. MP2 was just too sluggish on my not powerful system. I attach a log of the detailed messages I get when I fire up the XMLTV GUI. It's jolly annoying

    Mow using MP1.21

I have never used XmlTv or Digiguide, so I cannot help you with those. But as you are in the UK and use Freeview, remember that there is an EPG that is broadcast with the TV signals, and MP can be set up to use it. Refer to the Wiki for details of the settings required.

Thanks for that, yes that part seems to be working but it only goes a week ahead. Digiguide goes 14 days ahead, & gives a lot more info
