I installed the same svn version (MP and TV Server Plugin) onto the client as what's on the server, and it works!!! Thanks for figuring this out frippe75! I'll see if I can add a note about this in the wiki for future MySQL users.

My misstake. the tvserver was in config mode which means the tvserver services is stoped... this has not been the case erlier... but it NOW works!!

Config mode... what do you mean by this exactly?

I was running the TVServer configuration interface and for some reason the tvserver services was stoped..
