The only thing I have found so far is that all failing videos are played from address "http://encareenahdfi-vh.akamaihd.net/...". Videos from i.e. "'http://areenahdfi-vh.akamaihd.net/..." have no problems.

Edit: I entered "Ontto Kruunu"'s manifest to hdsdump and it showed that stream is encrypted with "Akamai DRM".

Great work @micko (y) Thank you for looking into this. I've tried to use the HLS streams but I cannot get it to work properly, I often (not always) get 403's on my requests. Maybe @georgius can come with some input with his knowledge.

Edit: @micko have you found any problematic streams with no geo blocking?

No I haven't found any. Non geo blocked streams seems all to be free to watch anywhere so I think there is no protected videos in there.

Yes that is correct! No Subs for OV in MP2 yet. There is currently some work happening to support external subs in MP2 - which is a prerequisite.
Great to know that there is work happening on this. Hope to see this in weekly snapshots someday. I could also do testing if needed.

The stream is protected with AKAMAI DRM, but I think, that problem is in AKAMAI decryption plugin. The filter uses by default decryption plugin downloaded from http://players.edgesuite.net/flash/analytics/qos/v1.3/data.swf, but maybe site is using for some videos another decryption plugin.

I did take a quick peek at the problem, and it's not trivial to solve. At the moment I'm very busy with real life, but I will try to get it fixed later.

    Hi.

Yes, Yle has changed site a bit. There are also things that I'd like to see in long term, like
"Suorat", which are "live" streams of Yle channels. Allthough there is a tab there "Areena", which contains live streams only in net.
Also Yle has now login capability, which gives you ability to roll back live streams 4 hours.

The tech behind live streams must be quite different than in other parts, it might require to use webBrowser player host in order to use them.
As far as I know live streams are html5 and normal are still in flash.

    Br,

    Hi Ministerk,
Did you get a chance to look into this?
