New beta version, still not final, use with care. Any bug report welcomed.
Change log:
- major skin change : youtubeinfo.xml control id 50 type changet from thumbview to facade, thin may cause in skins other that DefaultWide
- now it is configurable the cache directory and fanart directory.
- a lot of minor bugs fixed
- the skin it is more finished thx to ysmp (there will come other improvements)
- a lot of default icons for menu items defined
- menuitem for downloaded videos

Hi dukus ,
Wonderfull Work ,
the issue with now playing FIX (lists view 1~2 seconds).
playing video from statistics sections FIX .

playing video from Download section NOT..... the plugin go the Music now playing section....

see screen ...I will add it to google page.

Some info for Skinners (Contral id 50 in Now Playing Screen "youtubeinfo.xml")

The code Change to Facade wich mean you can view this list with all facade views , with a code change.

Exsample for Fimstrip view:
1- Change the code <define>#viewmode:coverflow</define> TO <define>#viewmode:filmstrip</define> (on top of the xml)
2- Reaplace the all code of the coverflow with fimstrip code (id 50).
Then you can have filmstrip view insted of coverflow.. and so on for others views .

Note: only one view can work (not 2 defrent view/code)

This can give you more option in your skin.

(Note 2: for Devlopers, this is a great feature for all MP,first it give option to use facade view in defrent windows then Standard one, second depending on view size on some screens can have defrent facade view)

Hi,

Some more new skin Ennancement (Include in new V0.8.0 Stable)

Add Download info/notification Trow all the screen's (view only when downloading in prosess)


Again for Skinner's please use DW skin file's as Reference to update your skin.

Using the previous stable version of the plugin, Media Portal keeps crashing whenever i use Youtube.fm!

Try to use latest stable version 0.8.0.199 see first post for download, if the error persist please post log again.

Hi, first as far as i know non of the skins are update to new stable version 0.8.0.199 , only Defualt Wide fully update,
from your logs you play youtube.fm with streamedmp , did you try first to use DW skin ?

second if youtube.fm first time install, the first time entering any list of videos better to let the plugin mack his cache first ,means wait 1,2 second untile videos imagee are cacheed , then play video .... only first time after new installation , from second time you get to the same list can play video right away .


3. small tip: if MusicInfoHandler plugin finish the scraping for your music collection, then disable it , it just run in a loop for nothing,
you will see in all MP better performance ... if you add new music unbile it again ....
