Hello it's me again. Yesterday I tried to disable ffdshow, i.e. I added mediaportal.exe to the list of softwares that don't use ffdshow and then it worked. But after a reboot I got video horizontally stretched again.
This evening I'll try removing ffdshow, just to see if that works.
By reading through my yesterday post, looks like I tested Mediaportal in overlay: what I actually meant was that I tried the options 'overlay' in the NVIDIA configuration panel, rather than 'VMR7' or 'VMR9', but I'm afraid these settings are overridden or ignored by Mediaportal itself, aren't they?
I'm now wondering if installing a different version of ffdshow could help me through this issue, and if it could, then which one?
