    Is there any way to make the TV Zoom mode zoom just a little bit more? Our broadcaster has an annoying line at the top of the picture that is normally cropped on an ordinary TV due to overscan.

    I have tried using the crop settings, but it seems to be applied before the zoom and if i get the picture right in zoom mode, then all my other zoom modes are out.

    Thanx
    Hein

    The line at the top of the attached picture is what I'm trying to get rid of...

    Hi Heina

    I do not think you can adjust zoom percentage in MP.

    You should address this on your DSTV decoder:
    Menu
    Advanced
    TV Installation
    Pin=9949
    Aspect ratio
    Select 16:9
    (exact steps may differ depending on your decoder)

    I've tried that, but then it chops off to much of the image when it is not 16:9, and it stretches the 4:3 to much. I basically jump between Non-Linear Stretch and Zoom in MediaPortal, depending on what is showing.

    Thanx though..

    Unfortunately the crop setting seems to get applied before the zoom. If I'm zoomed and I crop the image, I have to apply 100px top & 100px bottom to get rid of the line and keep the image centered. Then If I go to Non-Linear Stretch, it has cropped exactly the same amount - which I don't want, since then 100px get trimmed off the image top and bottom.

    What would work IMHO is a crop setting for each individual zoom mode.
