Im using the zoom mode "Zoom" if I have movies where a 16:9 picture is embedded in a 4:3 box.
I think it is called letterboxed?
But: When I use this mode there is a black stripe on the upper and lower side of the picture, and the picture is a little bit compressed. The zoom mode definitely does not keep the aspect ratio.
It should fully fill the screen if i have a letterboxed 16:9 movie.

Re: Zoom Mode "Zoom 16:9" does not work as it should

    Hi scirocco790

There is no "zoom 16:9" mode, so I guess you mean "zoom 14:9"? Are you certain that the movie is not widescreen 21:9?

AW: Zoom Mode "Zoom 16:9" does not work as it should

Sorry, I meant the "Zoom" mode.
The Mode that comes after "Zoom 14:9".
I think there was one more Zoom mode in MP a time ago. But it seems this mode was removed.
With this mode I was able to perfectly fit letterboxed 16:9 movies to the screen and keep the aspect ratios of the movie.
    It was simply zooming in.
