It first happened when I was browsing the TV-Series index. When I reached a certain index, the popup appeared saying "mediaportal had stopped working". I repeated it a number of times and it always happened at the same spot but I can't see why but I hope someone else can - logs attached...

    Hello Alan

Windows application event log shows the crash is caused by Trakt:

You'll need to report this to the person who develops/maintains Trakt.

Thank you, I had my suspicions about Trakt and I tried to go to their site but it seems to be down. Perhaps MP is failing 'cos it found the same thing?

Don't bother, its most likely due to site/api changes on trakt.tv. Will be releasing a compatible version soon for Trakt API v2.

Hopefully not a permanent problem when using the old plugin and just a once off because that would suck and will need to release quicker.

Only a handful of methods from v1 API have been ported across on the server so expect a lot not to work, but hopefully not crash all over the place.

I made the mistake of starting a new thread under the same name, apologies. I've had the Trakt plugin turned off for a few weeks and no problems, now the failures start again when browsing TV Series. Do I need to remove the plugin and how would I do that? Should I be talking to the plugin developer?

Upgrade to 5.1.0 and enable it, you had v4.0 last time in the logs.

Can't tell where your crash is coming from if you dont provide updated logs.

Sorry about that. Because I started a new thread under the same name, the old logs are showing. I can upload a new set if it will help. I'm installing 5.1.0 and will enable it and give it a go.
