I reinstalled MediaPortal after it being unstalled for a week or two except with the RC2 release. Trying to connect to the MS SQL Server with no luck ID MediaPortal and am sure I have the correct p/w Is there any way to reset the User/ID and Pass of the SQL Server so MP can connect?

Anyone using the EPG from Freeview NZ EPG downloader The instructions for MediaPortal at the bottom. I am finding it is working better than Revens and I liked his v3.

Ok I got it, many thanks. Got TV1 and TV3 to play also but not the FreeviewHD title. I can record and playback via MP the FreeviewHD channel no problem, also C3, TV6 and 7. No interest in Parliment and Maori channels so they are disabled.

Is there any way to get MediaPortal to play a .ts file that was not recorded in MediaPortal? I have some samples here but they do not show up in Recorded TV listing. The samples are from Fossie: Because Your Opinion Doesn't Matter Nothing I have seems to play any of them properly.

Whats the secret to getting the EPG to work in RC1? I used to have it working to some extent in earlier versions but this time nothing in any channels.

Where is MS SQL-Server installation folder normally located on a WinXP system? I don't recall being asked where to put the installation files.
