It’s not the network. I tested a lot with iperf and get always good results. I think, my NAS gives me the trouble: bandwidth is between 100 and 300 Mbits/sec. I think this is way to slow.

Yes, I use WebGrab+Plus. And bad chars was my first idea. So I tried different xml files, also tried xml files with less or without any program data. Always the same issue. It seems as some data is still hanging in a sort of cache.
