I had a similar problem. Check the gentle.config and make sure the providers where correct at the bottom of this config file. I use mySQL but the RC upgrade uncommented providers for both mySQL and SQLServer - SQLserver wasnt even installed and every time i tried to go to the my TV I got...

There are problems in the XML file format from xmltv.co.nz - it has issues with the &; within the xml text for some channels - hence it breaks...... Nice icons for all the kiwichannels available from there as well.... Looks promising if this is fixed....

When the video card is set at anything like 1080p/60 /50 /25 it jitters badly with 1080i source files - 720p files are ok. - this was ok with 1.0.0, If I set the video card to 720/ anything it works ok on both the tv or or PJ.... But I am not 100% sure what the 'delta' change was... I am...

I have the same issue - however. Main Server has 9600GT and HD-PVR running vista EVR - all good. Client server is running windows xp sp3 vm9 - worked fine before 1.0.1 but after 1.0.1 went bad - have to set it to 720p to watch it... ""Might"" be an issue with the 1.0.1 with 1080 signals...

Hmm - this is the same problem I have been tackling - just started trolling the forums - everything was working well on 1.0.0 but after 1.0.1 on my client the 1080i signals went to pack - set the resolution to 720p and it is ok.. Have upgraded drivers etc... Will investigate more and...

Total agree with AC3Filter - use Ac3filter over HDMI - once the TV is up you can use the filter icon in the taskbar to see the actual input/output by channel - you can also change the output type you want as well....
