Same issue here. This also affected IIS server on same pc saying something like 'connection reset...'. I went to windows update history remove updates and started removing 1 update at a time from bottom of list until finally everything started working again. I believe it was KB5007651 update...

I have made use of Defender exclusions before so I will add one for NewZap2xml_5.exe. This morning I force IMPORTed the .xml file I created last night and now have guide data back. No need to remap either!!!! Thanks to all who made this work!!!!!

I checked and had the same issue with mc2xml.exe. Downloaded the Archive copy and the guide is working again. Still using zap2it for guide data.

After tvguide stopped working with epg-buddy, I have been using zap2it.com schedule data via mc2xml.exe and epg-buddy. mc2xml.exe is no longer getting any schedule data from zap2it. zap2it must have changed something. Looks like it may be time for schedules direct.

I may try Schedules Direct JSON > mc2xml > EPG-Buddy > MP as a temporary measure. Is there a writeup on setting it up any where? I am temporarily using wintv 10 and its just not as full function as MP2.
