Still hoping someone can give me guidance here - I deleted the fanart database....it rebuilt and and everything worked fine ..for 15 days ...the last night i think it began the same behaviour showing a corrupt fanart database and crashing .....is it a setting I have ticked or requested in fanart ?

deleting the Fanart database and re-scanning it seems to have worked..at least I'm onto my fifth song without a crash Thank you ajs

Installed x64 and restarted PC...same crash same time frame I will delete the fanart database and re index it but how do i compress a database

Thank you I had no idea i had installed the x86 version somehow.,. I will install the x64 version when you refer to the database i assume you mean the Picture database? Or do you mean I should re-index the Fanart plugin database? Anyway i shall report back with the x64 version of MePo...

Hi, I use Mediaportal 1 a lot and have created a lot of Fanart jpegs for my music soundtracks but just in the last 2 weeks I have noticed that Mediaportal is crashing to desktop when I am playing music ( particulalrly from my playlists which have a lot of artwork ) I have attached my logs...

I tried to read the logs : investigation seemed to show the fanart database as having trouble...so I have deleted that database ......it has allowed me to watch mptv and some movies for 45 minutes without a crash......

Hi my HTPC shut down improperly and now I cannot launch Mediaportal using the Xtreme skin. It gets through "starting plugins" then shows a half screen saying that fanart is loading.I can direct it to change to "classic" home screen but in any case mptv series and moving pictures plug ins wont...

Hi, MP 1.19 stopped working so I rebooted but now it just flashes up with an error. I tried turning off my nod av and restoring to a previous date but that doesnt help either. Not able to understand the debug report...am I missing something basic here ?
