Installed MS dotnet 2.0SP1 in 1 package, and since this should be newer, should it not be supported by MP 0.2.0.0 ?

that is not available from MS updates. and cannot find version SP1.

Hi, Im new to Mediaportal and Im having difficulties setting up .NET framework 2.0. Im using the setup in the mediaportal 0.2 zip archive and it looks to be starting and downloading the file. But then it goes into installation and it takes forever. The progress meter goes roun and round and it says that installation is taking longer than expected, is this normal?

Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this.
