Are there any plans on supporting recorded television or even live television if the EPG data is usable? There are some shows I record every day or watch live but they will never end up on Trakt.tv this way.

Hi Frank-NL, its possible as long as we have the correct title+year for the tv show and also the correct season and episode index. I think recorded tv puts this information in an xml file doesn't after its recorded? For live TV, im not sure...its possible this information gets exposed as Play properties which we could read from MediaPortal's property manager.

Anyway, its hard to say without knowing more of what is available. You could raise a request on the issue tracker and we can use that to gather more information and possibly add that feature.

Hi,

I have been waiting for this ever since i discovered trakt. TBH i prefer it to follw.it.

I have a question though, not all my movies are syncing to the library. I guess i am about 100 short (1880 from 1980). Any reason why this might happen? is it a timeout issue?

I attach the trakt log.

This line is the culprit.

I also noticed at least one movie didn't have a Title+Year or a IMDBID, which is required to sync to Trakt but the rest seem to be legit.


I will pass this on to the team at Trakt to find out why those movies are being skipped.

Hi trekkiedj, we think we got to the bottom of the issue and a fix has been pushed server side. Can you please restart mediaportal and see if sync works for those missing 100 movies.

Ok, so maybe not all still syncing correctly. I amended the issues with the Production Year being empty, but still these movies (among some) wont sync.... any idea why?

Alright all those movies either don't have an imdbid or they aren't in themoviedb, which is where trakt scraps it's movies from.

You can add new movies to themoviedb. I would also check the others as well for any missing information namely the Title and Year as those are what is required if the imdbid isn't present to scrobble

Having a quick look at the others I noticed that your information doesn't match that on themoviedb, so verify your information and make the needed changes either on themoviedb or your local copy depending on what is correct
