@ kbluebig

I did as you suggested and installed:
PlayFLV
When I select an FLV in mediaportal onlinevideo plugin.
I get a message (translated) I cannot play file IP 80.0.0.0

Quite frustrating
I have FFDshow configured like the example but still a no!

MP4 play OK in youtube..

OK what I see in the error bar contains:
Videoplayback?ip80.0.0.0&sparams=id%2Cexpire%2Cip%2C
and some more slow scrolling text.

Maybe this is of some help to find out why it does not work

I do not have SAF installed.
I have a complete and good working setup running with FFDshow. and the other additional codecs that play all files
I did some configuration and tweaking to get all work flawless folowing an install setup.
I now have a good WAF factor to.

Just when I added this plugin I bumped into this problem.
I would like to keep my system and just get this plugin working and I cannot see why I should move to SAF which as far a I know is just another codec package.

The MP4 files on youtube work BTW without proble,
I could play the flv in MPC without trouble so the codecs are there and it feels like a small stem away.
One more observation is that the windows edia playere cannot play flv files either.

    fair enough

    1. do u use firefox or iexplore when you play youtube in the browser? If you use firefox, try installing adobe flash player for internet explorer, then reboot computer, then try again to play flv file.

    2. run a graph when you are playing flv in MPC-HC and see what is in use, then make sure u have reg32'd those filters from the standalone pack

I tied and both programs firefox and explorer open MPC when I open the flv files I have saved.
Or do you mean open youtube en search for some files?

I do not understand what you mean here?

re-install adobe flash player for i.explorer, reboot, retry.

to run graph, look in saf4.0 thread and follow instructions for creating a graph, play the video that doesn't work in mpc-hc / mpc, run the graph and see what is in use.

    hi kiwijunglis,

OK I gave it a try and installed SAF.

Now I van play FLV files.
    BUT

Now I lost possibility to play WMF and ASF files. The same that I used to play a few days ago:confused:

Probably something stupid from this side but I am lucky the wife is away:)

No I installed SAF 4 as the SAF is still beta?

    I also tried this solution,
I've found the solution. Atleast if you're using SAF v4 as I do. Turn on MS DMO Video Decoder in your Startmenu. It's off by default but it's needed to play online content.

But when I click on the ON button it gives a wildows error...in a popup

I am not AT the HTPC now
