No I installed SAF 4 as the SAF is still beta?

I also tried this solution,
I've found the solution. Atleast if you're using SAF v4 as I do. Turn on MS DMO Video Decoder in your Startmenu. It's off by default but it's needed to play online content.

But when I click on the ON button it gives a wildows error...in a popup

I am not AT the HTPC now

Run it as admin or install SAF5. It is safe

OK I will give it a try tomorrow,

I will uninstall SAV4 and wat is left of other codecs,

Think I keep CoreAVC and real alternative

Also I want to make sure I have all Audio correct for SP/DIFF as I only use digital playback

Yes, but you can ignore it (it only happend when you want to turn it off, right?)

correct, i only get errror turning it off, turning it on doesn't give error.

I also tried playing an asf file that I have on my disk with the mediaplayer and that does not play either. No codec message!

So something really screwed up I played that file before without problem
I hope I can give it a try tonight or tomorrow.

Please use SAF 5 - there is no need to enable/disable MS DMO decoder any longer in this version.
ASF files are decoded by default OS decoders. If it will be still not working with SAF5 - can you provide small sample to test?

Hi Hogorg and kiwijunglist,

Deinstalled all codecs appart from coreavc.
Installed SAF500

And most play now.
I have some problem with a HD file (WMV) Planet earth.
Needed to do an update when I started playing some online clip, which killed all audio, but after reboot it is corrected.
I have selected digital audio pass thru.

To soon to say all play but looks pretty promising..

So thanks for the support and will let you now if I find new issues.\\

Lost sound on AVI files. Guess I need to do some manual config.
