Yes, Eén is the same as één. In dutch we don't put accents on capital letters.
Hoofzenders is tranlated 'main channels' which is what most people whil have on their cable tv.

Overige zenders is translated as 'other channels' which are channels most people will have some of them but not all of them.

The Belgium channels één and ketnet/canvas transmit in flemish wich is dutch with a few different words (like swiss german and german)

I just checked:
eeacute@tvgids.nl is the correct channel (Eén)

Thank's a lot for your help!

    No problem. I didn't enter all these channels so I didn't know and we put the accent on the captitals so here it would be Één.

    I will fix this for the next release.

    tvinfo.de grabber

    Hi James,

    The tvinfo.de grabber fusses me...
    tvinfo offers the TV program for the next 14 days for 78 channels (with great and detailed descriptions). It would be creat, if I could get the grabber working correctly.

    As I mentioned a few days ago: tvinfo has in some description-cells a full table which contains a picture(<table><tr><td><img></td></tr></table>).

    :idea: Would it be worth the effort to modify WebEPG that way, that two different templates could be created? Could be possible, if you doubled the routine which compares the source with the template and give two different entry-names for SubListing templates. Or isn't it that good idea it thought?

    Cheers,
    mat

    wortelsoft & James,

    I think één was transformed into ''n during one of the ZIP operation...??? I am sure I included it into the tvblad grabber... :cry:

    Hi Madmat,

    I've had a look at the site and I would make the template for the ones with the image, because most of the other have very little or no description "Es liegen keine weiteren Beschreibungen zur Sendung vor. ".

    So for a template:

    <TD>
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>

    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>
    <#DESCRIPTION>
    </TD>
    </TR>
    </table>

    Some of this may be cut out.

    See how you go I will have a look tonight.

    Cheers,

    /James

    Hi James,

    The grabber already works for descriptions with image.
    As posted on page 5 of this forum it can be downloaded here:
    http://members.kabsi.at/mbux/www_tvinfo_de.zip

    I'll add the new channels to the channels.xml today (at the latest tomorrow), update the grabber and post the according links.

    I'll try if it's possible to grab the subtitles from the main page as desctiptions AND to grab the descriptions from the subpages, and if the grabbed subtitles (read as #DESCRIPTION) are going to be overwritten, when WebEPG finds a description on the subpage. Would be nice a solution...

    Cheers,
    Mat

    I want to make a new grabber for Dutch Tv guide because I think http://gids.omroep.nl is one of the best guides. But I'm constantly getting the following error, eg if I want to retrieve guide for Nederland 1:

    Code:
    11-8-2005 1:14:52 Error retreiving WebPage: http://gids.omroep.nl/core/content.php?Z=&dag=0&tijd=hele+dag&genre=Alle+genres&Z1=on Encoding:iso8859-1 err:The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden. stack: at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.CheckFinalStatus()
       at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.EndGetResponse(IAsyncResult asyncResult)
       at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
       at MediaPortal.Util.HTMLPage.LoadPage(String strURL, Boolean isHTML)

    Is this because I'm not on that server...in other words is it forbidden to retrieve data if server cannot indentify me as normal user who's just using the webpage

    Hi Artman,

    If you put this URL into a web browser without visiting the site first you also don't get a page. This URL does not contain the channel to be viewed. I had a look at the site and it appears that the channel selection menu, down the left side is using Java script. Not sure.

    It maybe still possible to find a URL that includes the channel, but at the moment I have not found it.

    I will continue to look at such sites. I would like to support more complex methods of getting information for example post or java script. However, my knowledge of such web site programming is very limited.

    If any one has good knowledge of web page programing and how to interact with such web sites. I would be happy for some help in this area.

    Cheers,

    /James

    Hi James,

    I don't have that good knowledge of programing web pages, but partially I can answer how forms are handled:

    In our case, the data entered in a form (e.g. by checking boxes) is sent to a server application (mostly CGI).
    What exactly happens with the entered data is defined in the opening form-tag:
    <form action="http://www.example.org/cgi-bin/feedback.pl" method="get">

    The method "get" (it's the standard for simple forms) appends the data entered in the form to the basic URL as parameters:
    http://www.example.org/cgi-bin/feed...iel@example.org&Text=Das+ist+ein+kleiner+Text

    Those parameters are going to be evaluated and processed by the server application.

    I hope that helped a little. Stefan Münz wrote a very good HTML compendium:

    http://de.selfhtml.org (German)
    http://en.selfhtml.org (English)

    Just have look here: http://de.selfhtml.org/servercgi/cgi/formularverarbeitung.htm
    and here: http://de.selfhtml.org/html/formulare/definieren.htm

    If I have the time to, I'm going to create a form for loading the channel information from a site which already works (e.g. tvtoday) for testing purposes.

    Cheers,
    Mat
