Firstly, congratulations for the idea and nice backgrounds. I tried to do one myself and am uploading it here to share with anyone interested.

Hello,

also added my mask, as a base for own creations - good idea catavolt . It is 1280x720 with the MediaPortal Logo to fit the overall look.

Also prepared a set off linked weather images. I just transfered the original images on the TV screen.
They are without the 3D effect, sorry - but do not look to bad, I think.

It would be great if you guys can build some more. I will also prepare some, if I find the time.

These are really cool. Could you make one for MP in general? I would then use that as the splash screen and desktop image so that at power up and shutdown only the 3D effect in the TV image changes, ... drool ...

Will look at adding a option pack to the editor for the next patch - long term (think MP 1.2) it is highly likley that the images here will become the defaults for the skin - there are some major improvements in 1.2 for image cacheing and animations that are required to make these images really work.
