I might have a look into creating this.

My only real issue is how to play the content in decent way, and ideally one where you can play/pause/stop with the remote. I just don't know how to do that!

I think if you use the internal MediaPortal player, that will handle the play/pause/stopping of any media you can connect to.

Would be great if someone did, I've never programed before (keep putting off learning!). Would save having to quit out of MediaPortal each time I wanted to use the OnDemand sites.

anyone know how it works in MCE? does it play the flash stream, or does it just display a webpage with the swf embedded in MCE?
