    Re: [1.0.5] Trakt for MediaPortal

This is a very strange limitation, as there are films whose duration is about 10-30 minutes in one hour I can see about 5 movies, so I can inspect the movies who, for whatever reason do not have time to watch before. Ie if u do limit the movies in an hour then put it around 5. TV-Series same for the duration of 2 minutes (a couple of episodes of Sponge Bob) also have ogranichichvat at least 10 scans per hour.
I don't agree that it's strange, but I do think it can be improved e.g. it could take into account the duration of an episode/movie and adjust the series/movie limit per hour rather than a hard-coded value.

But even still, people will find a way to abuse the statistics on the site like renaming their shows/movies to match those of shorter length...I think there is no perfect solution but there is always room for improvement.

But we do encourage you to login to the trakt support forum and voice your concerns or propose a better solution, again there is nothing we can do for you here.

It would be wonderful ... Or at least to the status Watched by this error would be exhibited during the next sync.

I do not understand why do it? The same statistical resource, what is the cheat number of viewed movies, etc. and so on? Is that the fault in sync ...

There must register again, and why? When I realized this limitation is not a site, and built-in plug-in.

It appears that we are trying to send them...but its timing out on sync. I found that this generally occurs when there are a lot of movies that are not already on trakt.tv. Generally what happens is, if a movie in your collection does not exist on trakt.tv, then trakt.tv will scrape this information from TMDb: The open movie database. This must be the reason for the timeout but im not 100% certain as its not in our control.

I will pass the log file to trakt website admins to take a look and let you know.

    Re: [1.0.5] Trakt for MediaPortal

    thanks for the help.

2 days ago all the movies are correct displayed on the website, but i had some issues with a movie and did the "clear trakt library" option, at that time the trouble began.
So all my movies are on trakt.tv. ;)

Ok, seems like your movies are ok then and there is probably a temporary website/api issue maybe. Anyway, I forwarded your log and we will see what happens ;)

    Hi.
With MyFilms, if you are in the details page of a film and go to options-trakt-comments, it looks for comments using the translated title instead of the original.
    Thx

Hi z3us, My Films hooks into our API to show the Shouts page so probably a good idea to bring this up with Guzzi. Ideally the user will also have the imdb id in database, it should be using that as first preference then fall back to title search. I agree that it should be using original title if available.

EDIT: actually I think it might not matter what title is used as long as there is a aka for that movie and it matches. I also think trakt might be prefer English title so that could be why that is being sent from My Films.

The imdb url is in the DB. The film (The Godfather) is correctly displayed in my trakt library and when Im playing it. The only issue is with comments, a window pops saying "No shouts for El Padrino!"
