what would be neat to be able to do is to link the trending screens back to your collections. So if I see a movie or TV show in trending that I have I should be able to click on it and go to either moving pictures or tv series directly to that title.

This already works for movies Will remember to work out TV Shows as well

Yep, as Technicolour says that is already supported for Movies but requires MediaPortal 1.2 Beta. This requires some changes to TVSeries plugin as it doesnt have the ability to jump to a series...although I will add that

Another possibility that would be neat would be some type of integration to tie in the tv guide for upcoming (calendar) to setup recording, or add to watch list of other programs if you know what I am talking about.

Cool idea to lookup tvguide when viewing calendar so you can make a future recording easier. You can already add Show to watch list when you bring up the context menu on calendar item.

And if you don't have the movie, and you have the latest Online Videos plugin, it will jump to the trailers for that movie

There are hard limits to how many shows you can "watch" on trakt in a given hour. You've hit this limit for some reason or another, I wouldn't worry too much as all that will change (in theory) will be that the episodes will be marked as seen on the next sync, instead of coming up as watched immediately.

Attach the full logs if you still have them it will give us a better idea of how many shows you have watched. In fact it's probably best to always attach the full logs (and not to just post them as text but actually attach the file) as then we have all the information not a portion.

They restrict how many movies or tv shows you can scrobble per hour. This is just to try and limit the amount of traffic via the trakt api, so it doesn't get abused and cause slowdown problems across the site.

There isn't much we can do about it as while we are the plugin developers, we are not the site owners/developers.

Again this wont effect your watched flags, as they will be caught up in the next sync, the only thing it effects is the live display of "You are currently watching this movie" as the scrobbling system and watched system are separate.

I believe the limits were originally introduced so as people dont abuse the statistics on the site. As said earlier if you have a problem or question regarding the website you can visit the trakt forums, you will find the trakt community very helpful:

This is a very strange limitation, as there are films whose duration is about 10-30 minutes in one hour I can see about 5 movies, so I can inspect the movies who, for whatever reason do not have time to watch before. Ie if u do limit the movies in an hour then put it around 5. TV-Series same for the duration of 2 minutes (a couple of episodes of Sponge Bob) also have ogranichichvat at least 10 scans per hour.
