Perhaps try a memtestx86 boot disk and check that memory too.
I already did that test a long time ago, and it turned out there was nothing wrong with memory modules. Like someone wrote here on the forum, Mp is a big slow mammuth that no one, except geeks, can fucking make it work on an everyday use computer. Surely, in the lab, Mp runs smoothly, I dont doubt this.Callifo said:Perhaps try a memtestx86 boot disk and check that memory too.
Sorry! I didn´t mean to get agressive, it´s just that MP gets on my nerves sometimes. Well, here I´m gonna include a new error.log, hoping someone will come out with a good idea.Callifo said:Chill down, it sounds like youve already made up your mind so you might as well just move onto MCE2005. Thats your choice but you dont have to get aggressive about it.
And it works fine on a LOT of computers on here with vastly different configurations so its not just the 'lab' that it works with.
That´s exactly what I got right now. MP installed on a different disk, with XP SP2, .Net, Divx, Xvid, Ac3 filter, Nvidia pure video decoder.Okay said:I belive a dual-boot with one XP inst. dedicated to MP would be the solution...
Worth a try, anyway?
Right now, I got .NET 2.0, but are you sure I need both versions? When I read here on the forum, what the requirements are, they insist on having the latest possible versions of everything. Can someone confirm this?wortelsoft said:As for .net do you have both .net 1.1+sp and .net 2.0 installed?
You do need both.
