Hi cul8er.

have tested your Music Vids skinfile and it looks very nice But there have been some changes in the Music Vids Plugin, haven't checked if you have updated your skinfile, but just thought I should make you aware of this

I think this is the best skin for MediaPortal at the moment, but I have one problem:
I use the latest version of X-Factor and My TVSeries, but instead of the TV series' name it only shows a variable (#TVSeriesPrettyName or something like that). In the other skins I've tried (Blue3, Amped 2.0) it works fine.

Release 340 is now available!

Hi,

The new version of the x-factor skin is now available (R340). Alot has happened since last version. I will provide a change log later but in the meantime you can download the skin and have a look for yourself. An updated guide for the two plugins (menu editor & skin configuration) is on its way also.

This version is what I think is really version one of the x-factor skin. In past releases alot have changed back and forward. I have tried new concepts, new grapchics and colors. I think now finally and as a result of all your feedback we have a skin with "one" look and design concept. I'm looking forward to hear your reactions to the new version and as allways do not hesitate to provide your valuable feedback as this is what drives this skin forward

A BIG thank you to everyone who have helped by reporting issues and added feedback. A special thank you to dlarge500, rekenaar and Pretoriano who have spent alot of time testing the new skin to help making it as good as possible.

The new version is intended for use with MP1.0.2 but you can use it with MP1.1 also but if you do, please read below first. I use both MP1.0.2 and MP1.1 when I test the skin.

WARNING FOR MP1.1Alpha or Beta users
The MP1.1Alpha and Beta contain a bug related to the Multiimage control. This makes the backdrop funtionality in x-factor fail. If you use MP1.1Alpha or Beta please open all basichome.xml files and replace all multiimage animations according to below. The error is now resolved and future releases of MP1.1 will work correctly.

hi cul8er ! just download r340 ... i did not instal it yet ,, i just go trow the folder in animations - tv folder and tvseries folder have
a an hidden file name .svn and in side that file have abut 7 more file's ..
is this hidden folder spose to be thir ?

It is only leftovers from the SVN tool I use. I will remove them (I guess you used the RAR file??) but they are only textfiles that makes the SVN tool know what is in sync with thr repository on google code and what is not.

I actually downloaded the .SVN version last night as I just couldn't wait any longer. Didn't get to test it though, so I'm just gonna replace it with this release instead. Great!

Edit: Some thoughts right away from testing.

* The zoom effect on the backgrounds on the Basic Home actually gives me nausea.
* The splash screen would look better without the logo in the upper corner (or at least the MEDIAPORTAL text, as that font just looks weird IMHO).
* The blue parts of the skin (the lights that light up when you have a list item selected) would perhaps fit in better with the rest if you could recolor them yellow/gold like the rest of the focus items?
