Guys, Cul8er is still around and working hard on the skin. He's been posting in the Fanart Manager thread. He mentioned there that the next release of X-Factor should be before Xmas.

X-Factor Release R479 is now available

Hi,

X-Factor version R479 is now available. See this as my christmas present to you just kidding

Many things has happened since last version. Both new layout, navigation and bug fixes. If you want to see what issues that are fixed then please see this thread (link).

IMPORTANT;
This release has some big changes so please read these guides before installing.
* Menu Editor Guide
* Fanart Guide

The Fanart Plugin
One of the big changes is the new fanart plugin. This plugin is described in the guides above but in short the plugins enables the use of multiple images in MP without using more and more memory. It also enable fanart when browsing your music collection of playing your favourite track. So if you want to use this you probably should move your existing TV, Music, Plugins and so on files from your Media/Animations/XXX directories to the /thumbs/Skin Fanart/XXX directories and also go into the menu editor and choose the Fanart option instead of existing multiimage or single image option. This is all described in the quides above.

Moving Picture 1.0 Beta 2 Users
If you want to use Moving Picture 1.0 Beta 2 with this skin please do this;
1. Install Moving Picture 1.0 Beta 2 Plugin
2. Install the X-Factor R479 skin package
3. Install the X-Factor - Moving Picture 1.0 Beta 2 - Package (link).

Finally a BIG thank you to everyone that has contributed with feedback or issue reports. And especially thanks to the X-Factor test team and the users that volonteered to pre-test this version (Link). Without your help this would not work.

And thank you to the team behing Moving Picture and TVSeries for inspiration that helped me with the fanart handler plugin concept. To Harley for his help on the video overlay.
