X-Factor Skin R581 Now Available

Hi,

Version R581 of this skin is now available.

Important About This Version
I have removed ALOT of images that is no longer used. This will make the skin faster. But, to make this work you have to delete your image files before installing this version. By this I mean delete (backup first) all PNG files in the existing xfactor\media directory, except for the animation folder that can stay as it is. Then install the new version.

Some news on the new version

• Yet another basichome layout is included (I will not reveal the design just yet, you will have to wait and see)
• The settings screens have been completely rewritten including the x-factor skin configuration (that now uses tabs)
• RadioTime has been redesigned (now uses fanart if available and looks like the music playlist and now playing screens for a more one design kind of concept)
• Menu Editor now uses browse buttons instead of "the dialog automatic popup on field click"
• Alot of unused graphics have been removed and the one left are optimized to make the skin faster
• Small adjustments to TVSeries and Moving Pictures
• All dialogs have been redesigned
• Dialogs and menus now operate much faster
• Overall speed improvements in the skin (incl Moving Pictures)
• I have worked on quite a few of the existing graphics to improve the look of the skin (including list backgrounds)
• Some bug fixes for things I have discovered so far
• New OSD - Settings design
• New splashscreen
• and much more....

The screenshot thread is now updated to reflect what you can expect from this version.

A big thank you to everyone that contributed to this version by submitting issue reports and helping me out in the test thread (link).

just to let you know , evrting work fine but as i check the error log i see have some error with : GUI.Library.GUIImage and
GUI.Music.GUIMusicPlayingNow .

i attach the error log ...

Thanks cul8ter, looks great - really like the home page loading fix...

Did you decide not to move the Aeon home menu bar or did this just get lost fixing real bugs...

Hi clanmackenzi,

Thanks for your feedback. I missed that one. Have now fixed it and it will be included in a fix release. I have started a thread where I will put fixes for specific issues so that users can get fixes without having to wait for next release. I will put the aeon fix there later today.

a few more small bugs ..

in basichome when click down to get weater on basichome no beackdrops show and no pulgins butten name see screen 02

in weather if you go to day by day some overlaping in sunrise you can see screen 03
check all the days only 1 is o.k rest 3 have the overlaping ...

Thank you all for your feedback. I will fix the reported issues as soon as possible. In the meantime you can see what the new weather forecast in basichome will look like (and the myWeather will look the same).

Hi Cul8er,I installed version 581 and then the Moving Pictures started to say that skin not of the support for categories. I came back version 547 and the problem continues. I am using the Moving Pictures Beta 2.
Any aid on what it can be this?
